So here is the thing – I love Ker Dukey’s books and have read them all ( some of them more than once) and Empathy was one of my absolute best reads so I have been waiting on this book! I nearly wet myself when it popped up on my kindle at stupid o’clock in the night and I did absolutely nothing I should have done while my world stopped and I read it. (in one go)

 

Blake, Melody and Ryan had my heart in a twist an my my mind in a mess. If we are being honest my panties soaked!

 

Desolate takes place eighteen years later, eighteen years after the massacre that was the end of Emapthy. The very sexy pyscho Ryan has just been released from the institution where he was incarcerated after his murder spree. Blake and Melody are happily married and their daughter Cereus has just turned eighteen.

 

I know is shouldn’t have this insane book boyfriend crush on Ryan – he is a murderous crazy man. Tell that to my pounding heart! Ker Dukey has this way of making crazy the sexiest thing ever. 

 

Ryan’s new obsession is Cereus, his niece. The book follows the events after his release and the ripple effect is has on all of those who had any part of his life before. It is dark, twisted and absolutely brilliant.

 

I am shocked, horrified and strangely completely turned on by this story.Once again Ker has broken me because I won’t be cured form this book hangover in a hurry! 

 

If you like a filthy dirty dark story, with lots of crazy, a little love and a sexy psychopath this book will tick all your boxes (if you are scared of anything, easily offended or looking for a fairy tale this book will upset you horribly)

 

Once again Ker has earned five crazy sexy blood stained stars from me.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active... I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could of improved the story if they took another direction so i thought it best that i tell my own.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I'm not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I'm a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister. You can find me on Facebook where i love interacting with my readers.
