What book do you wish you had written?
That’s a tricky question, but I wish I had JK Rowling’s imagination. Her Harry Potter world is so amazing. The small things that you never realize mean something until you get to book five or six.
What's your favourite of your books?
Again, that’s a hard one because all of my books are special to me, but my ultimate favorite has to be Forbidden Awakenings. I knew going into it that it would be a book that people wouldn’t get because the love my characters share isn’t . . . typical, I guess. But I think that’s why I love it so much. In the end, after all the drama and tears and fears, it’s a love story.
Which of your books was the most fun to write?
I really enjoyed writing Angel’s Heart, because I was able to take these normal people and give them amazing powers.
Which of your books was the hardest to write?
None of my books has been really hard to write. My characters tend to speak a lot to me. I guess the hardest would be the one I’ve just finished. The second book in the Awakenings Series. Forgotten Awakenings was my NaNoWriMo project and it just never took off. But I’ve chiseled away at it and finally have it done.
Your book is being made into a movie, which star would you beg to make a cameo appearance?
Female would be Emma Stone, because I adore her. And the man would be Jeffery Dean Morgan, because . . . Well . . . He’s hot.
Coffee, tea or wine?
Unsweet Ice Tea. I drink way too much of it, but I gave up sodas a few months back, so tea is my only other drink besides water.
You are taking me on holiday, where are we going and why?
I’d take you to Hawaii so we can explore the land of Angel’s Heart.
Who is your favourite book boyfriend? (Not yours)
My book boyfriend, huh? I don’t know that I really have just one, but I do love Sam from Lindsey Gray’s Firework.

A banana and some grapes.
